These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Willshaw’s Property Services (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accepting a quote, booking a service, or allowing work to begin, you agree to these Terms.

1. Quotes & Estimates

1.1 All quotes/estimates are based on the information provided to us at the time.
1.2 Quotes may change if additional work is required, conditions differ from what was described, or extra materials are needed.
1.3 We will inform you of any changes before proceeding.
1.4 Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

2. Booking & Scheduling

2.1 All bookings (calls, site visits and work) are subject to availability.
2.2 Times given are approximate due to the nature of trade work (weather, delays on previous jobs, emergencies, etc.).
2.3 If we need to reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible.
2.4 Customers must provide accurate contact details so we can confirm appointments.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

3.1 If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
3.2 If we arrive and cannot access the property or the job cannot proceed, a call-out charge may apply.
3.3 We reserve the right to cancel work due to safety concerns, lack of access, or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Workmanship & Standards

4.1 All work is carried out to a professional standard using appropriate tools and methods.
4.2 We aim to complete work within the estimated timeframe, but delays may occur due to weather, material availability or unforeseen issues.
4.3 We are not responsible for delays caused by third parties (suppliers, deliveries, etc.).
4.4 Minor variations in style or finish may occur due to the nature of materials, surfaces or existing conditions.

5. Materials & Products

5.1 Materials may be supplied by us or the customer.
5.2 If materials are supplied by the customer, we are not responsible for faults, delays or defects related to those materials.
5.3 We may request a deposit to cover materials before work begins.

6. Payments

6.1 Payment terms will be stated on your quote or invoice.
6.2 Payment is due upon completion of work unless agreed otherwise.
6.3 Deposits (if required) must be paid before materials are purchased or work begins.
6.4 Late payments may result in additional charges or paused work.

7. Access to Property

7.1 You must provide safe, reasonable access to the property for us, our tools and materials.
7.2 Any delays caused by lack of access may incur additional charges.
7.3 Pets, children and personal belongings should be kept clear of the work area for safety reasons.

8. Health & Safety

8.1 We will work safely and follow UK health & safety guidelines.
8.2 We may refuse to work in unsafe conditions.
8.3 Customers must inform us of any hazards at or near the property.

9. Damage & Liability

9.1 We take care to avoid damage, but we are not liable for:

-Pre-existing issues

-Wear and tear

-Structural defects

-Old or unstable materials

-Issues caused by hidden problems discovered during work

9.2 We are not responsible for damage caused by weather, pests, or conditions outside our control.
9.3 We are not responsible for indirect losses (e.g., lost income, delays caused by other contractors).

10. Guarantees & Aftercare

10.1 Workmanship is guaranteed for a period appropriate to the type of work (typically 6–12 months unless stated otherwise).
10.2 Guarantees do not cover:

-Damage caused after completion

-Customer misuse

-Poor maintenance

-Natural wear and tear

-External factors such as weather or ground movement

10.3 Materials may carry their own manufacturer warranty.

11. Photos & Marketing

11.1 We may take photos of the work before, during and after for records, insurance or marketing.
11.2 No identifying personal information will be shared.
11.3 You can opt out of marketing use by requesting so in writing.

12. Complaints

12.1 If you have any concerns, please contact us directly so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
12.2 We aim to investigate and respond promptly.

13. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)

13.1 We collect only the information needed to provide our services.
13.2 We will never sell your information.

14. Changes to These Terms

14.1 We may update these Terms occasionally.
